До 13 травня в Болгарії використання медичних масок обов'язково для всіх, включаючи водіїв, у відкритих або закритих громадських місцях. Крім того, заходи, що застосовуються до водіїв, також були трохи змінені. Для неболгарських водіїв, які прибувають з країни із зареєстрованими випадками COVID-19, діє наступний режим:

- водії вантажних транспортних засобів, що перевозять товари, призначені для болгарського ринку, повинні в'їхати на територію Республіки Болгарія, розвантажити товари що перевозяться і / або завантажити товари і негайно покинути територію Республіки Болгарії;

- водії вантажних транспортних засобів, що перевозять товари, призначені для інших країн, можуть проїжджати через Республіку Болгарія за маршрутом, визначеним Агентством дорожньої інфраструктури.

Прикордонні органи охорони здоров'я видають інструкцію водіям, що проїжджають через територію Республіки Болгарія, із зазначенням:

- дата і час, коли вони повинні покинути територію Республіки Болгарія; а також

- пункт перетину кордону, через який вони повинні виїхати з країни.

The measures included in this instruction are in pursuance of Order No. RD-01- …… of .......2020 of the Minister of Health and the preliminary implementation is being undertaken in order to limit the COVID-19 outbreak, which represents severe public health emergency at national and global level. This justifies their character as measures of extremely high public interest. The consequences of untimely application and any delay in the implementation of anti-epidemic measures will cause significant, difficult to overcome and irreversible harm to people's life and health.
